This depends on how you have your Openspot set, by default it is set to connect to the network by DHCP. Therefore the IP will be different for each network it connects to. This is the recommended setting if you will be connecting to different networks. Hope this helps.

You cannot assign the same IP address to more than one device, this causes an IP conflict. Think of each device like an address to a house. How would the postman know where to deliver mail? So here try this. On your main router give it the LAN IP address of 192.168.5.1 Also if you can assign a DHCP ...

There are several mini routers available that can connect to your hotspot and provide Ethernet to the Openspot. I use the GL-AR150 Mini Travel Router, it is powered by a micro USB just like your Openspot is. You can find this from several suppliers.. Google is your friend.

The way I connected to mine was by connecting the Ethernet port of the tp-link straight to my router, wait a couple of minutes for the tp-link to provision itself on the network, and then on your computer open your browser type in the http://tplinkwifi.net in the address bar. that should let you in ...
