Re: DMR ID name lookup

It's not really critical since we mostly use first names, but it would be helpful to have OS display first (which appears to in some cases be first+mi) and last names on the display. Maybe my question is really a feature request. Thanks.

Thanks, NV. It's great to see you on here answering customer questions so quickly; if only you could get Bill Gates on board...

Re: DMR ID name lookup

For me, it's doing this for every user: http://web.newsguy.com/wl2000/Capture.PNG I looked, and these guys in particular have their "first mi last" in the database. Maybe there's a setting somewhere I've overlooked? I'm on v59; I'm upgrading to v61 right now, but I don't see anything in the notes. T...

Re: Internal battery

I read this: "Modern batteries last for several years without issues."
But I also read this: "The internal battery has one year long warranty period."

How much will it cost to have the battery replaced if it goes bad after just 1 year?

DMR ID name lookup

I haven't used my OS2 as much as I'd like, but I thought I recall that DMR IDs displayed "firstname lastname" in the Call Log on the Status page. Mine's displaying "firstname mi" and no last name. Has it always done that?

Re: Another DMR to FCS problem...

Rebooting. That's what I was missing. All I did was power the OS2 down and back up, and all seems to be well.

[SOLVED] Another DMR to FCS problem...

I'm sure I'm doing something stupid, but an hour of headbanging hasn't identified the issue. Connector is set to FCS. Modem is set to DMR. Connected to FCS003/090. I can see traffic in that room on the web, and I can see traffic in DN mode 2 on the OS2's Status page (as "To: ALL From: [somebody's ca...

Static UI button placement

Just a small nit. After my firmware upgrade downloaded, I got to the Upgrade screen that has buttons for "Cancel" and "Reboot now" [or something like that] in that order left to right. I clicked on "Reboot now". But the instant that I did that, the OS2 took the Reboot Now button away, and as a resul...

Re: New OpenSpot2 and DirecTV Remote issue

In the US, lots of little remote control devices (alarm gadgets like door-open and glass-break detectors, car key fobs, [and DirecTV remotes, apparently!] etc.) are in the 432-435 MHz band. Tune around that range someday, and you'll hear lots of data bursts. Avoid that band with your OS to avoid pro...
