Re: Another DMR to FCS problem...

Rebooting. That's what I was missing. All I did was power the OS2 down and back up, and all seems to be well.

[SOLVED] Another DMR to FCS problem...

I'm sure I'm doing something stupid, but an hour of headbanging hasn't identified the issue. Connector is set to FCS. Modem is set to DMR. Connected to FCS003/090. I can see traffic in that room on the web, and I can see traffic in DN mode 2 on the OS2's Status page (as "To: ALL From: [somebody's ca...

Static UI button placement

Just a small nit. After my firmware upgrade downloaded, I got to the Upgrade screen that has buttons for "Cancel" and "Reboot now" [or something like that] in that order left to right. I clicked on "Reboot now". But the instant that I did that, the OS2 took the Reboot Now button away, and as a resul...

Re: New OpenSpot2 and DirecTV Remote issue

In the US, lots of little remote control devices (alarm gadgets like door-open and glass-break detectors, car key fobs, [and DirecTV remotes, apparently!] etc.) are in the 432-435 MHz band. Tune around that range someday, and you'll hear lots of data bursts. Avoid that band with your OS to avoid pro...

Yes, we know about this issue, but it's not with the OS2.

BM TG not listed on OS2 but streaming and listed at BM

I've had this happen a couple of times. Setup is Brandmeister, DMR FW V15 from this morning. I have one static TG and no dynamic TGs linked. There is a QSO going on on the static TG, and I can hear it through the OS2. I click the [X] on the OS2's BM Manager tab to kill the static TG, and I get the g...

Re: Shark RF Server / Client

Are you trying to connect 3 OSes together without using a server computer? I.e., 1 OS as the "server" and 2 OSes as the "clients"? Is that supported? I thought that you could only connect 2 OSes directly together, and if you wanted more, you had to run a standalone server on a PC, then have all of t...

I may have been a bit hasty.
I think that's all it was with both of us. My last unsuccessful try was several minutes after the OS2 first had access to the WAN, but it eventually worked. If anyone else has this happen, I'd recommend just waiting 5 or 10 minutes.

You have to connect the device to the internet first so it can upload it's IP address to the sharkrf.link service.
It was connected to my public-facing router. It just took a few minute. Thanks.

So far, very impressive. Nice job.
