Thank you!

Re: New OpenSpot Help

Your openSPOT is not DMR calibrated for your radio, as your openSPOT does not receive the call terminator frame. Please run DMR autocal, if it does not help, try to change DMR demod modes manually from A to F. Typically mode D or E are the best for Chinese radios.

Re: From DMR to C4FM fail

Does local echo on 9999 work? Which C4FM connector do you use? I was wrong in my previous post, you have to set your radio's color code to openSPOT's color code (this can be changed on the settings page). By default it's 1. Also please make sure that TG9 is in RX group list on your radio's current c...

Re: From DMR to C4FM fail

Hello,

Color code, timeslot and talkgroup settings are irrelevant in this case.
Please make sure the modem is in DMR Hotspot mode, and the connector is properly connected to a C4FM network.
Does local echo on 9999 work?
Also you can try the echo service on FCS in room 99.

Re: Need help with new openspot

Hi,

Do you mean the Ethernet LED is blinking? It means that openSPOT is receiving network traffic, and the connector is receiving it as valid packets, as it can be seen on the network graph. Which connector do you use? Please make sure you use the latest firmware version.

Re: DCS - connection issues

Please upgrade your firmware first. If it still does not work, please check that the server you try to connect to is working and accepting DCS connections by looking at the server's dashboard. Also please try connecting to other DCS servers.

Re: IMPOSSIBLE OPENSPOT "standalone" with Hotel WIFI !!!!!

That is not openSPOT's fault - this is how captive portals work. You can make a workaround by using a separate wifi access point in client mode, then you have to register that access point on the hotel network, and only use that access point for your computer, phone, openSPOT etc. Open a webpage fro...

Re: Time for change.

Hello, Don't be scared about the range of settings available, if you don't turn on advanced mode, then you will only see the few important settings which is enough for the usual operation. There is no Android app available, as it is not needed - you can open openSPOT's web interface from your phone'...
