Re: Cross-format operation

I was going to ask a very similar question - can you cross-platform any of the 3 modes into the other 2? D-STAR>DMR? DMR>D-STAR? Fusion>D-STAR? I have at least half a dozen people willing to buy if the unit does universal cross-operation on all three modes... Only DMR->Fusion or Fusion->DMR is supp...

Re: Comparison between SharkRF and competion

Dear Bob, The main difference is that openSPOT doesn't require any other hardware to operate. All needed accessories (5V USB power supply, USB cable, Ethernet cable, antenna) is supplied with the product. It has a simple web interface for configuration. Re: Cross-format operation

Dear Scott,

DTMF support is not available yet. All Fusion calls are routed automatically to TG9. If you are using a connector which supports multiple timeslots, the TS can be set on the web interface. Also, you can set an auto connect reflector/TG ID, so you don't have use manual dialing at all.

Re: OpenSpot on WiFi vacation hotel...

Dear ApipApip,

You can connect openSPOT to Wi-Fi networks using a Wi-Fi access point with an RJ45 Ethernet plug.

Re: OpenSpot LAN with PoE and CellPhone??

Dear ApipApip,

I think the second one is able to connect openSPOT to Wi-Fi networks.

openSPOT reconnects automatically to all networks, no manual intervention needed.

Re: OpenSpot LAN with PoE and CellPhone??

Dear ApipApip, PoE is not supported. You can use the USB port to power openSPOT. You have to use an external Wi-Fi adapter like these to be able to use it over Wi-Fi: m m m Talkgroups, reflectors can be changed by starting a short call to the DMR ID, then you can talk to TG9. You can join C4FM rooms...
