Re: Connecting Shark To Iphone

You should configure the TP-Link in the client mode to connect to you iPhone personal hotspot. The iPhone will not recognize the Hotspot login page just from the name so you have to connect to the hotspot with a computer and login once and the address shown in your browser will show the IP address n...

Re: Connecting Shark To Iphone

Yes it will work. It is just faster however for the using with Openspot the N150 is way faster than you really need. The N150 is 150 Mbps and the N300 is 300 Mbps.

Re: Auto-Connect Noise Bursts on Brandmeister DMR Network

It is also a good idea to have a channel programed with 4000 as a group call to go to between talkgroups and key for about 3 seconds to insure a disconnect. You should get a verbal unlinked back to you. Sometimes the Bandmeister network fails to disconnect from the previous talkgroup if you just go ...

Re: Connecting to local rptr

Tried to connect to one of my local repeaters today using the database ID number with my hotspot. Although my status page showed connected to the number I could not get it to key the repeater up. Perhaps there needs to be something done in the repeater programing to make it work. I do know it is pos...

Re: ? About Talkgroups

Are you sure you have the correct transmit and receive frequency in all of your channels? If you are using a Connect Systems or a MD380 radio you can email it to me at w5hj1@yahoo.com and I will take a look at at.

Re: ? About Talkgroups

Couple of things. You should have a channel for 4000 as a group call and use it to unlink from the talkgroup you are on before linking to another talkgroup. You should get a voice response when doing that of "not linked". Also when linking or unlinking hold the PTT button for about 3 secon...

Re: Connecting to local rptr

I just noticed something weird about K4LCT repeater. It shows a frequency of 445.5125 with a plus 5 MHz offset. If someone programmed their radio to hit that repeater
they would be transmitting out of band. :?:

Must be incorrect info as far as the frequency.
