Re: Yaesu FT2DR with "Wires X"

Hi Ken, You are posting on the OS2 Board index. I do not know about the OS1, but what I know is that the OS2 does not yet has this capability but will have it by next year, starting with the Beta Firmware 25 coming on the first week of January. Maybe somebody will come with more elements to you. 73 !

Re: Always connecting to Reflector - Dstar

Thanks Bob for the reply. Using CQCQCQ solves the issue. But the weird thing is that leaving the Link to REF018C (the one I most use) does work ok on Pi-star, that is, it just sends the reflector instruction one time, it does not repeat in every single keying whereas on OS2 the same does not happen....

Always connecting to Reflector - Dstar

A question for those who can be of help. I am using a tiny ID-31 with OS2 for D-STAR. I have it configured as usual, my OS2 as a local repeater and the command to the desired reflector. What is happening is that whenever I key the radio it says connected to REF XXX. This should happen only the first...

Re: Openspot2 and Iphone

I would suggest the following:

1 - Change the name of your Iphone and OS2 SSID to something simpler. Just a simple name first.

2 - Leave your OS2 off.

3 - Turn-off entirely your iPhone.

4 - Put it on again

5 - Turn on OS2

I hope that works for you.

Re: Openspot2 and Iphone

I think I found the right procedure for the Iphone connection to the OS2. Iphone usually sends the "beacon" to establish connection with another device for a limited time only. That aims to save on battery. So, what worked out for me was the following and in this order: 1- Turn-off the OS2 2- Turn-o...

Re: IPhone needs to be powered cycled to connect to OpenSPOT2

I did have the same issue and opened a post about it.

Please check it here: https://forum.sharkrf.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2508

I have not yet tried the solutions proposed but if nothing else works, I will certainly reboot mine as you did.

Re: Callsign not appearing on dashboard

Thanks for the reply.

Is there anywhere I can find the necessary information on how to do that? Sorry if that seems a stupid question.
