I opened PuTTY and selected serial and the net and I got the MAC Address but no ip address. I know you must enjoy working with rookies.

Re: Computer says it can't find the openspot
I finally got PuTTY to open but I could not find the ip address. Probably because I don't know what to enter in the opening dialog box.

I downloaded the PuTTY software but when I try to open it they want to sell me a driver update program called PC Cleaner. I can't get past that place. Any suggestions?

Re: Computer says it can't find the openspot
Thank you for the reply. I am pretty basically computer iliterate. Could you explain how I get the ip address using the USB Serial console (net command). I attempted to find a DHCP client list when I opened the access to my router.

Computer says it can't find the openspot
It is one step forward and three steps back. I am using a desk top computer with Windows 10. No matter what browser I use I can't get to my openspot. It says " No server found " or can't locate a device called openspot. I have checked and it is on ComPort 8. It worked perfectly on Tuesday ...

Re: unable to connect to DMR
I finally learned how to take a screen shot. I sent 4 earlier. I hope at least one will show what you need to see. My email address is bobmary37@yahoo.com that will let you know the e-mail I sent. Thank you so much for all you do to make the openspot a really great choice.

Re: Transmitting but getting no return
You are a gentleman and a scholar and there are darn few of us left. I reset the C4FM modem settings and changed from Narrow to wide. And had the first of what I hope to be many, contacts. I am so glad I decided to check here once more.

Re: Upgrade issues
I had the same problem with the upgrade. What I did was to download the update file and place it on my desk top. Then I opened bootloader and was able to drag the file off the desk top into the bootloader. It only took me about 3 or 4 tries before I got it right. BTW- I had to do the push reset and ...
