Re: openSPOT2 Connection Problems

It seems to be working now. It appears the echo did not work on FCS reflector 2.
I went to reflector 3/99 and it is fine.
I also talked to a buddy on reflector 1 so I guess all is
working as it should right now.

Re: openSPOT2 Connection Problems

The openSPOt2 seems to work fine on DSTAR and DMR but I cannot
make any C4FM connections.

Re: openSPOT2 Connection Problems

I was able to connect using my cellphone. I then could go in
and add my home wifi information and then turn off the cellphone.
It seems to connect to my wifi now.
I have upgraded to firmware v15

Re: openSPOT2 Connection Problems

Yes, the connection for the AP does show an unsecured connection even though it is not.
The router is an ARRIS model TG1682G

I am still trying to get the work around to go.

Re: openSPOT2 Connection Problems

When I select my wifi network, I never get the screen to enter my password.
Therefore, the openSPOT2 never gets connected to my local wifi to
complete the setup.

openSPOT2 Connection Problems

I tried several times to connect to my local wifi with no luck.
I can select my country, select my network, but before I get
a sign on screen, my browser says "your connection was interrupted".
I tried on a desktop computer and an iPad with same results.
Any suggestions?

Re: Adding a 2nd openSPOT

Hi Glenn,
I am doing the same thing right now. Just name the openSPOTS different names,
change the frequency, you are all set.

Re: P25 mode

It sounds like P25 mode may be coming. If so, would it be possible to program it in the translation mode so those of us that would like to try P25 and do not have a P25 radio?
Maybe we could use a DMR or C4FM radio to talk in the P25 mode?
Just wishful thinking.............

Re: Private Calls between Two Openspot users.

Just to make a private network between two openspots.
If I read correctly, to tie (3) together would require
additional software and setup?
