Bad DNS entries for XLX reflectors

Post by VA3SQD » Thu Jun 27, 2019 1:49 am

Hi,

I have an OS1. If I change to an XLX reflector from my TH-D74 (a new capability in their firmware as of today) the OpenSPOT brings up a Server Address of XLX302.db.sharkrf.com, which does not resolve, and the connection fails.

If I choose XLX302 from the dropdown in the GUI I get 144.217.241.23 instead of an FQDN.

The DNS issue has been fixed now by Norbert and Ákos. You can change XLX reflectors via your radio.

Thank you for the quick review and response to this, however I still don't get a reply when I try to resolve XLX302.db.sharkrf.com.

I have just checked again can I change to XLX reflectors through my radio and I can say you it's working fine. I don't have Kenwood TH-D74 radio but my Icom ID-5100 and ID-51 Plus2 could be change reflectors from REF to XLX with command XLX302DL. Please check your radio settings.
