Problem with CS800 and CS800d with OS2

Post by n1id »

With both of the above radios I cannot get them to transmit through the network. Local parrot works but BM parrot doesn't. Also anywhere I go won't work. These radios work fine on Open Spot 1 set the same way. My Anytones, md380 and cs580 all work perfectly through OS2.. Any Ideas. I tried many settings.

Another item is the cs800 and 800d work fine through my china spots as I call them Raspberry pi0 mmdvm
Thanks

Does your BM parrot call show up in the call log properly as a private call to the BM parrot ID? Make sure it's a private call as BM's parrot will only answer for private calls, but openSPOT2 answers both call types.

Yes it does. One thing I notice is a end call going out quickly. I even copied the channel from os1 changed frequency. Still wouldn’t work. Got me baffled. Seems like it’s not even getting to brandmeister

Can you please copy here the OS2 log which shows you calling the BM parrot?

The problem is it is not transmitting into BM on any talkgroup from CS800D It works fine in house .

I have a good connection via MiFi and can receive fine, just no xmit.

I have gone through the programming on my CS800D and everything looks good, The O2 talks good on all my other DMR radios. And the CS800D talks on my other hotspots with no problem.

Thanks for response.

Log shows that your call is received and forwarded correctly by the OS2. Have you tried changing the radio type in BM SelfCare for your DMR ID 3109230?

I tried every setting just now and nothing worked. On the bandmaster last hear it shows nothing when I try. I also tried my other ID and it did the same thing. Very perplexing.. And again it works fine on the open spot 1
