NXDN

Post by Jerry » Fri Jan 18, 2019 1:20 pm

I tried using my Fusion radio in crossmode to NXDN. When the local repeater keys up,
my Fusion radio keys up and all is well.
When I key my Fusion radio, I cannot bring up the local NXDN repeater.
I probably have a setting messed up but I have tried everything I can think of.
Any ideas?

I have seen on the Internet we can use the last 5 digits of our DMR ID for use
on NXDN but I also have seen where we need a new ID# for NXDN.
I am not sure which is true but I still could not get it to work.
Does anyone know about the ID requirements?

So am I understanding this right? You still need to create different profiles for different NXDN reflectors? I was under the impression that the new firmware was gonna allow me to change reflectors by just keying up a different reflector’s TG ID#? This isn’t the case? Will it ever be the case? Pi-Star has always had this functionality.

You can switch NXDNReflectors using private calls to the desired NXDNReflector ID with the latest beta OS2 firmware.
