Incorrect Talk Group name

Post by robertbretzman » Mon Sep 09, 2019 1:39 pm

Hello, you have been notified of this issue by me and other hams with no resolve. I am the Admin for the TGIF Network. I we need to get this fixed. When users of your product our on our server why are talk group names for other networks showing up on the shark dashboard when shark users are on our network.
There are other networks besides BM. A talk group # is just a # and should not be named in the database you use. Please correct

Talkgroup names for TGIF Network will be added in the next beta firmware. Please see the beta changelog: https://www.sharkrf.com/products/opensp ... elog/beta/

You can turn off displaying names for talkgroups in the current stable firmware by checking the "Don't look up group calls" checkbox in the ID database lookup dialog on the OS2 web interface.
