Thanks, NV. It's great to see you on here answering customer questions so quickly; if only you could get Bill Gates on board...

I beleive RFShark will have repair agents in the USA or contract to a company. It would also be a good idea to make the battery user replacable. Then people have the option, send it it or self replacement.

My $0.02.

Replaceable batteries seem to have fallen out of favor everywhere. I don't like it, but I can understand why. The physical design of the device must be completely different, and the battery itself must be packaged differently.

From a manufacturing standpoints, the easiest way to do this would be to use an extant battery. Of course, cost of the initial unit would go up.

You can even turn on a setting which makes the OS3 follow the power supply, so if there is no power supply, it will turn off, and turn on if the power supply is present. This makes the OS3 behave like an OS2, so it can be automatically turn on and off based on power supply presence, if used in a car for example.
That's a nice feature :-)

The battery should be able to be replaced by the user.

I guess the reason why it is not user replaceable is to ensure no one damages it when trying to change battery.

On another note, I noticed that something seems loose in the openspot3. It feels like a heavy object so I am thinking the battery is not quite snug in the unit. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?
