P25 TG9 reroute

Post by markw4itg »

So I’m wondering why when you uncheck P25 reroute calls to TG9 why the ability to change reflectors by PTT’ing a different TG# is taken away? Normally it wouldn’t be a big deal but to get my selective call alert & LED color to work properly (on my Kenwood NX5300) the radio needs to receive the present TG/reflector I’m on in order for it to work properly not TG9. Does anyone know if there’s a way around this?

If reroute is turned off then all calls are sent to the server untouched, to support servers which can handle multiple talkgroups (currently no server supports this, but this may change).

I guess I’m stuck with going into the GUI then to change reflectors because I want the selective call to work and it won’t with everything being redirected to TG9. Thanks
