openSPOT3 and Reflector 1/C

Post by BrentP1964 »

I'm using the openSPOT3 with the ICOM IC-9700 and I'm having trouble connecting to Reflector 01/C. Has anyone else had this problem? if so, what did you change in the openSPOT3 to get it to connect?

Do you mean that the OS3's status is "connector connecting"? Make sure the callsign you've set for the REF/XRF reflector has a valid D-STAR registration, as REF001 requires it. You can check your registration by clicking on the Check D-STAR registration button at the REF/XRF connector settings.

It says my D-Star registration of N5BWP is valid.

Please post a screenshot of your REF/XRF connector configuration. Also please check the device log on the Status page (Advanced mode needs to be turned on) to see the reason of why the OS3 can't connect.

It shows "connector connecting" but doesn't ever connect. I have no problem connecting to reflector 30/C. But reflector 01/C is a whole different problem.

Please post a screenshot of your REF/XRF connector settings. Make sure Advanced mode is enabled (bottom right of the web interface) before taking the screenshot.
