Hello,

Thank you for the advice. That worked!!!
(You should update the manual so that other users also can reverse the order of SSIDs.)

Another issue: The connection between OS3 and PC/Ipad seens to be unstable. I am close to the OS3, but still it disconnects often in the middle of configurations.

The distance between your PC/iPad from the OS3 does not matter. What matters is the distance/signal quality between the Wi-Fi router and the openSPOT3.

- Try placing the openSPOT3 closer to your Wi-Fi router.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi bandwith is set to max. 20Mhz in the Wi-Fi router (see explanation here: https://superuser.com/questions/542191/ ... less-speed)
- Try switching Wi-Fi channel on your Wi-Fi router. Only channels 1, 6 or 11 should be used (see explanation here: https://www.metageek.com/training/resou ... -6-11.html)

If the openSPOT3 (and also the openSPOT2) gets disconnected, then it will always try connecting to SSID #1 first, then SSID #2 and so on. If both networks are visible, then it will always prefer #1.

Sorry to report that it only worked for a few days.
I have my iphone in ssid 1 and my home wifi in ssid2.
It works ok as long as i am home, but the moment I leave home it will not connect. The message is "open spot try to connect wifi network"
My conclusion is that there myst be a serious error in the alogoritm.
You definitely need to update the software asp.

is your iPhone's hotspot page open? think it needs to be in order for it to work.

For my pi-star to connect the hotspot page on my iPhone has to be open on the screen. Openspot has been shipped. Hope this helps.

Hardly seems to be helpful giving that as an answer or a suggestion. If you can’t be helpful in a good way why bother!?
