Change IP default TTL

Post by kpbenz »

Hi,

is there any way to change the IP default TTL?

Some providers block tethering by analysing the TTL, increasing it might help.

Cheers,

It's usually set by whatever DNS server is providing IP addresses to the LAN.

The question was: how can I set/overwrite it, to circumvent the thether blocks from certain service providers.

I can do that easily with my Linux computers, would be nice to use the OS3 in that sort of environment as well.

So let the OS3 pick up its LAN and DNS settings from a local DHCP service.
