Dynamic TG disappear from status but still active

Post by caliham » Sun Jun 04, 2017 7:02 am

Hello!
My OpenSpot is connected to Brandmeister and I use a DMR radio with it.
I have not defined any static TG on the Brandmeister selfcare.
When I look at the SharkRF status page, I see :
* BrandMeister linked static TGs: -
* BrandMeister linked dynamic TGs: -
* BrandMeister linked reflector: -

When I transmit on a TG, I will see this TG on the dynamic TG:
* BrandMeister linked static TGs: -
* BrandMeister linked dynamic TGs: 3100
* BrandMeister linked reflector: -

So far so good.
After a few minutes however, the status page will go back to empty:
* BrandMeister linked static TGs: -
* BrandMeister linked dynamic TGs: -
* BrandMeister linked reflector: -

However, the SharkRF will still transmit the last talkgroup I have been listening to !
You can see on the below screenshot that the status is "in call" despite all 3 TG lines empty.

The fact that the OpenSpot continues to transmit for this TG is PERFECT; that's what hotspots should do: continue to be active on the last TG utilized, and change when a PTT is made on another TG.

However, why is the interface showing no active TG, since the TG is *still* active ?

Thank you !

Talkgroup/reflector link information on the Status page is queried from the BrandMeister API by your browser. The API reports that what you see there, it is not controlled by openSPOT. You can check what the API displays for your DMR ID by overwriting my DMR ID in this URL: http://api.brandmeister.network/v1.0/re ... &q=2161005

The first talkgroup you call after group calling 4000 will be an auto static talkgroup (this is a BrandMeister feature), which means it will stick around until you group call 4000 again, regardless of what other talkgroups you call to make them dynamic.
