Web interface issue

Post by Regess »

Hello all, when I change profiles the web interface seems to log me out and return to the login screen. Any ideas? I have the latest firmware.

openSPOT reboots on profile switch. This is also mentioned in the user manual.

I can't find the word "Profile" in the openSPOT User Manual version 0138. If Profiles are discussed in the Manual, I can't find it.

There are 29 occurences of the word "profile" in the user manual.
This is the openSPOT user manual: https://www.sharkrf.com/products/openspot/manual/

This is radically different and much longer than the pdf I downloaded from the website, which has only 20 pages.

Where can I download the pdf for the online file you pointed to?

We don't have a .pdf user manual as we regularly update the online user manual with every stable firmware release. The only official user manual is at https://www.sharkrf.com/products/openspot/manual/

However, you can "print"/save it to a .pdf file using your browser.

The default port of the web interface seems to be 80.
I need to change it because port 80 is already used in my router's port forwarding table.
How can I change it?
Didn't find it in the openSPOT user manual: https://www.sharkrf.com/products/openspot/manual/

I don't see a way to do it from the openspot.
I suggest asking in troubleshooting and in feature request.

If you use an advanced firewall or router you can usually port forward to 80 internally from an different port externally such as 83 externally---> to 80 internally.

Some basic home type routers may not allow this or provide a way to do it.
I feel more like I do now.

My router is an Asus RT-N66U.
https://www.asus.com/us/Networking/RTN66U/
I don't see where can I set up a different port externally or internally for port 80.
Thanks for the tip for asking in troubleshooting and in feature request, will do.
