Multiple OpenSpot's - How close to each other can you place them?

Hello:
I have 3 OpenSpots (V1) and I was planning to locate them about 18" apart form each other. I sadly have a wireless access point and 2.4ghz phone base within 4 feet from the openspots too.

I am looking for information or best practive on distance apart. Obviously I have them transmitting on different frequencies, currently .250Mhz apart. So, I guess another question is radio seperation, should I have more seperation in frequency? Its not often all three are transmitting but it can happen.

Thank in advance,

Kevin.

No replies to this question as I have the same question...how close can I place the Open Spots together and how close in frequency can they be without interfering with each other?

You can stack the openSPOTs as close as you want. You should use at least 100kHz difference with 0.5W TX power on your radios. You can use 1W or more if you use 250kHz difference.

How do I run 2 openspot 1's. Trying to set up the second one I seem to be linking to the original one, so can't set up the second one, which was originally my original one which I swopped over to set up the second one.

You should change their hostnames to be unique (Settings page, Network settings section).
