yaesu radio id displayed on openspot

Hi team,

I have a ftm-100 and i get this number displayed *****F5jQz and send out to the the other operators i know it is the radio id how can i get rid of it in the settings,i have seen it before answered but cannot find it in the posts ,could you pin point me to the right direction ?

Your Yaesu radio puts it's ID in the destination callsign. You can't change this behavior.

YSF software replaces the radio ID with ALL if the DG is 0 or 1.
Wouldn't a similar thing be useful?

That's just what you see in the software. Callsigns in RF frames won't be replaced with ALL.

Not on RF, but it gets replaced on the network. This is a nice way to see on a reflector what hams are using, OpenSpot or devices using YSF Gateway :D
If I remember correctly, even old Yaesu transceiver firmwares did this, at least on FT1D.
