FTM-100D Low TX Power with OpenSpot

Post by razman » Wed Mar 27, 2019 5:51 am

My mobile setup using Yaesu FTM-100D and OpenSpot 1.
The lowest power setting in FTM-100D - LOW is 5 watt.

Is it safe to transmit 5 watt into OpenSpot within the same car?
or I need to plugin Dummy Load to reduce the power
say using
a) Diamond DL30A Compact Dummy Load, or
b) Opek DL60 Dummy load

Thank you,

You don't need to use a dummy load.
