connecting problem

Post by va2cml » Wed Jan 10, 2018 11:16 pm

I received my SharkRF today. I could log and see the status page as showned in the manual. But the status indicate « connector connecting» and the status red light always blinking. After a few hour I did not find solution, could you help me?

Please post screenshots of your Connector page so we could see your settings. Please turn on advanced mode before taking the screenshot.

Now I am connected to this repeator but nobody hear me. I tried with an another amateur but he didn't hear me. It seems that there is no transmission and no reception.

Hi,

I checked the D-star registration page and you (VA2VM) don't have a "B" terminal registered so the D-star system won't let you on.

That is at least one reason why no one is hearing you. You should be able to hear other stations on that gateway though. So you may have additional problems but mainly you need to get the module/terminal situation updated first.

It appears that you do have a "SPACE" terminal registered.

So, in order to fix the issue you need to put a "SPACE" character in the Local Module box, not the letter "B" like you have now.

Or, you could go to your D-star registration page and enter a new terminal using the letter "B". That would also fix it.

Try that and report back.
