FYI - My autocal suggests mode D for the TYT also but I use mode C as it offers lowest BER and happy medium across all my DMR radios.

Not sure if this makes a difference or helps troubleshoot.

I am also having the same problem, both with the TYT MD-380 and with my two Motorola radios (xpr7550e and xpr5550e).

After some troubleshooting, I can see that this mainly happens when there is activity on two or more Talk Groups. For example, last night, on my Motorola xpr7550e, I was listening on TG TGIF and then switched to TG 310. I pressed PTT to make sure I was now on 310. After the first station turned it back to the other station on TG 310 all I heard was silence. I didn't hear the other station on 310. I went over to the Openspot and saw there was activity. I went to the Openspot dashboard on my browser and I saw that the Openspot was picking up the QSO on Talkgroup TGIF even though my radio was on TG 310. The openspot was giving priority to TGIF. Once the station on TGIF stopped talking and turned it over to the other station then the audio picked up again on TG 310. I can duplicate this behavior.

This happens both with the TY MD380 and with the Motorola.

I reverted back to firmware 127 with the same behavior.

Please provide a workaround. This is a very annoying bug.

openSPOT can't prioritize a talkgroup, because it receives only one stream at a time from the server. openSPOT transmits what it receives from the server. If your openSPOT received a call from TG TGIF, then the server sent only that call to the openSPOT.

It's advisable to use BrandMeister with only one dynamic talkgroup linked at a time to avoid confusions like this: call TG4000 before calling a new talkgroup.

The only way that would be feasible, in a mobile, is to have two DMR radios. One radio sitting on the Disconnect. Even then the disconnect needs to wait for inactivity before the command reaches the Openspot. When I am mobile, I don't have access to the openspot dashboard where the disconnect command can be executed immediately. That may be what I need to do when I am mobile and running the Openspot.

I would think tracking the dynamic talk groups, where the 'current active' talkgroup is the talkgroup associated with the last received PTT, might allow for a solution. If the stream of data coming from the server also identifies the talkgroup associated with the data then the data stream could be buffered and held and if the next stream received is equal to the 'currect active' talkgroup then Openspot could then send that stream. In that manner the QSO you are in continues uninterrupted. It could be a selection on the DMR part of the Dashboard where the user could select this behavior.

Mitch,
Similar experience here. Received my OpenSpot last week. OSP 1.1 Was working fine with my MD380.
After upgrade RED LED would be On but no audio from TYT speaker. Unscrewed antenna from MD380 and audio decoded fine. Reduced OpenSpot output to 0 db and connected it to 50 ohm dummy load. Reinstalled TYT antenna and all functions good. Carl WA3SEE

I have had the same problem with my 380 seams the open spot overloads the front end on the 380 I have a motorola 7550 and wile the tyt is silent the 7550 is clear as a bell if you remove the antenna on the 380 then the audio will come in fine I have only had this happen on the 380 my 2017 md9600 cs580 and 7550 do not experience the issue seams to be just the 380

My MD380 now seems happy post 135 update - can hear all the audio rather than a burst of a second or so at the start of the over.
