OpenSpot with Motorola radios

Post by VK4ZTG » Tue Jan 02, 2018 11:50 am

has anyone found any issues transmitting through an open spot with DP3600, DM3601 or the Vertex versions, where the Chinese radios like GD77, TYT and CS versions Transmit through OK but the Motorola Radios are intermittent when transmitting.

I was wondering if it is necessary to calibrate the open spot for the particular radio in use, has this been an issue?

Any comments welcomed

Please run DMR autocal (or manually try each DMR demod mode on the modem page), and test with the built-in local echo on DMR ID 9999.

Hello.

Hi.

I have just bought a 2nd hand shark here in Sweden and have the same problem. Unfortunately, it sounds like i´m banging on tin cans no matter what DMR demodulation mode I'm trying. I have tried the following radios: DP3601 / 4801, DM3601 / 4601 and a TYT MD390 with the same results. Sounds almost like that the radio is set to 12.5khz but you tx with 25khz step (and banging on tin cans in the background)

Hardware Version:
v1.1 (433)
Software Version:
0131
Bootloader Version:
0004
Device ID:
0D3AFD6C

Any ideas to fix this?
