Probably because the server IP address has change and the repeater owner not informed the list administrator or repeater out of work.VK4TUX Adrian's DPlus hosts file list has same IP address (37.99.224.224) for IR8BA repeater. Further info is here: https://forum.sharkrf.com/viewtopic.php?t=1214

If you use reflectors then you have to enter D as the local module. Probably you already have a space character in that field so erase it before entering D.

I have a D74 and can not successfully connect to Gateway repeaters with an OpenSpot 2. It works great on reflectors. On Gateway repeaters it says "connecting" and I can hear people talking, they can not hear me. Then it says "disconnecting" and then it says "connecting." What do I need to do to have a successful two way QSO on a Gateway repeater and the OpenSpot 2?

IZ8UYT: yes, you can switch to a DMR profile with your D-STAR radio.

W4KDK: please see the "How to configure your transceiver" section in the user manual (https://www.sharkrf.com/products/opensp ... cy/manual/) Set the "your call / urcall" setting in your radio to the gateway's callsign and set the urcall's last character to the remote module. Set the local module in the openSPOT to a space character.

I did all that and it still connects and disconnects to the Gateway repeater. What else should I try?
