TS2 settings on DMR+/IPSC2

Post by yo2loj » Sun Sep 30, 2018 12:44 pm

Would it be possible to have Static TS2 settings in DMR+/IPSC2 options, too?

They work as expected when setting them in raw mode, e.g.

Code: Select all

StartRef=4670;UserLink=1;TS1_1=226;TS2_1=2262;
but having a dropdown list like the TS1 TG #1 to TG #5 would be nice, and make it easier for the OPs.

Also, I think empty settings should not translate to empty options. This is what happens now when not setting relink time and having empty TGs:

Code: Select all

StartRef=4670;RelinkTime=;UserLink=1;TS1_1=226;TS1_2=;TS1_3=;TS1_4=;TS1_5=;
While it would be nicer like:

Code: Select all

StartRef=4670;UserLink=1;TS1_1=226;
Tnx guys for the hard work.

Why is it good to also have static TS2 TGs?
Empty options is good because the user sees what options can be set in raw mode.

You are perfectly right Norbert, the time slot allocation is the device's personal view of the network, with no impact whatsoever, just some sysops prefer things a certain way.
The empty option stuff was just a personal preference, an I have never thought about it like you :)
The question is: will all server implementations silently ignore empty options?
