change to null after last rx (timer reset)

Post by ON4VP » Mon Dec 25, 2017 5:21 pm

I have the setting "change to null after last tx) set to 3600 (1 hour).
I can see the timer counting down on the status page.
But when there is traffic, the timer keeps running so if there's a lot of traffic but when the timer will hit it's 3600 sec and there is no traffic for a few moments, the connector is set to null.

Better would be that as long there is traffic, by every refresh of the status page the timer is reset.
I want to have the connector set to null after 1 hour of no traffic but not just after 1 hour.

I fully agree with this user about the rx null suggestion. I think it would be nice if we could choose how the rx null countdown timer functioned. (i.e. Whether it continuously countdowns regardless of traffic, or if it resets after each voice transmission received).
