Problems With iphone

Post by WH6EAO »

Have been trying for almost a week now, gotten as far as submitting my UID number but that is as far as it goes. Tried on Safari and Firefox browsers with no success. Regardless if I use IP addresses, hostnames and SSID's. Is there problems with the settings on my iphone that i'm not aware of? Firmware upgrades for the OS2? Please any help to resolve the problems will be immensely appreciated.

Thank you & 73's,

Please describe what is your exact issue. Can you open the web interface? What LED color do you see on the OS2?

I use my OS2 tethered via an iPhone SE all the time, no problem at all. I can view the status page better with a PC or laptop, but don’t often need to see what is happening (ie auto connect on power up, just pull the power to shut down). Note, if you tether to a phone, the phone and OS2 need to be quite close together, especially if you have nearby higher power WiFi from neighbours... no more than a foot or two apart can help.

My preference is to use Firefox on my iPhone and to connect to the IP address, which can be found via one of the many free utilities on a PC/laptop. My hotspots linked to my iPhone all appear in the 172.20.10.xx range, currently the OS2 is set to D-Star on and a Pi-Star hotspot is set to DMR on, your IP range might be different to mine.
