Hi, I recently purchased an Icom ID-31E. I currently use my TYT MD380 with my Openspot 1. What do I need to do to use both on the same Openspot, is that possible? I want to be able to talk on D-star and other times with the TYT on DMR.

D-Star / DMR on Shark Openspot1
Re: D-Star / DMR on Shark Openspot1
Yes, it's possible. For D-STAR, activate a D-STAR connector (ex. REF/XRF or DCS/XLX). For DMR, activate a DMR (or C4FM if you want to cross mode) connector.

Re: D-Star / DMR on Shark Openspot1
Hi Norbet
So I got my Openspot 1 to work with D-star and still have the DMR setting programmed into the Openspot.
If I wanna do some DMR do i need to enter the interface and change and edit the connector etc?
Thanks

You can use the web interface, or set up 2 configuration profiles, one for DMR and one for D-STAR, and you can switch between these 2 configuration profiles using your transceiver.

Re: D-Star / DMR on Shark Openspot1
I have been having trouble getting my OS1 to work on DMR. It works fine in crossmode from C4FM, but
using a DMR radio I cannot get it to work. I tried all settings on the modem A-F, no luck.
The Autocal does not "see" any signal. It does receive DMR calls from the Internet just fine.
Do you have any idea why I cannot transmit? My Brandmeister passwords are all set up and
working fine on other hotspots.

Re: D-Star / DMR on Shark Openspot1
Make sure both TX and RX frequencies are set to the same value both on the OS1 and your transceiver, otherwise your transceiver won't transmit (it expects a repeater on the frequency).
Does the built-in echo service on DMR ID 9999 work?
If not, switch both RX & TX frequencies, then re-do AutoCal or DMR demod mode switch.
