I need a little more detailed explanation of how to use cross mode in the manual.
I can't explain all the radio setup methods, but please explain the basic setup methods easily.

It’s actually very simple. Click on Advanced Mode and make sure it’s checked.
1. Click on the Connectors tab.
2. Switch your active connector to the mode you want to cross to. For example, FCS, DMR, D-STAR, etc.
3. Under modem mode, select your transmitting radios mode. If you have a Yaesu radio, you would select C4FM. D-STAR for Icom. DMR for DMR radio.
4. Under server, select your crossmode server. You will see a list of servers based on the mode that you selected under active connector.

I had no problems setting up cross mode. Registering with bandmaster and such but... how to INVOKE it once it's set up.. The blasted owners manual has NOthing on that..

These are the instructions from a D-Star Radio.> Since I only have D-Star radios I did not bother with other modes.

To connect to a Bandmaster server in the YOUR CALL field send BM#### Example BM3103

Then to connect to a talk group send it's number like 93
To disconnect send 4000

YSF
No need to pre-connect to a serve
To connect to a YSF chat room send YS####

To disconnect use the Unlink from Reflector command (7 spaces and a U)

And it's that easy
