LED colours during DSTAR use

Post by Tyrbiter »

I've noticed that when connected to DStar reflectors, that the Red Tx LED occasionally flashes Orange/Yellow during transmission and more noticeably so if the audio is a bit 'gritty' with a higher BER.

Is this intended behaviour? I found the modem BCLO setting in the manual but mine is set to 0 and has never been changed. I have not seen this in other modes, C4FM for instance on either OS2 or OS3.

Please see the "modem transmitting" section here: http://manuals.sharkrf.com/openspot3/en ... status-led

"A brief yellow LED during transmission signals an invalid received packet sequence number (which means network packet loss)."

OK, for some reason my brain didn't read the lines above the part about BCLO lockout.

Question answered, thank you.

I suppose you are limited in which colours are available, but I didn't think the WiFi firmware was being updated.
