Stopped Working

Post by josebr »

Got my OpenSpot3 a few hours ago. I put it on inputted the D-Star info and was able to briefly talk to a friend on a D-Star Reflector, but their was a loss rate of 33%. I turned it off to eat dinner while it charged. I let it charge to 97% before taking it off charging. I pressed the power button, but nothing happened.

So now nothing lights up. I even tried a factory reset (press Wifi 30 Seconds). Nothing.

Please tell me there is something that can be done. I'd hate to have to send this back. What do I do now?

Push and hold down power button at least 7 second.

Hi HA5OGR,
Thanks for getting back to me. I don't know what I did. But it is back up and running. I am now testing to see that everything is still working. I will post more of my findings.

But again, thanks for letting me know what to do next time. I really want this to work. I would dread having to go back to Pi-Star.

it may have been downloading/up[grading the software and databases in the OS3. Mine slowed down considerably the first time it went through that process.
