Openspot 3 will not see WIFI networks

So I decided to reset my open spot three and start fresh since it wasn't properly scanning Wi-Fi networks that I wanted to use. I did as a manual reset and held down the network key for 30 seconds for a full reset but here lies the problem . After resetting, I turned on the open spot 3, put it in AP mode and logged in using 192.168.99.1. The computer sees it fine but when I ask it to scan for networks it gives me an error code that the scan cannot be completed and just cycles out. I've tried multiple devices such as iPhones, iPads, Windows computers, Mac computers and anything I can think of to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

You can manually connect your openSPOT3 to a Wi-Fi network by clicking on the Manual connect button.
