Hello,
i have tested P25 on the new FW v36 and it seems not to work.
When connecting to a P25 reflector i can hear the voice announcement on my radios fine. When TX ing on one of my Radios the openspot does not RX at all. I have tried with 3 different radios. Changing the RX frequency offset in the Modem Settings does not help. After some time i am even not able to decode the voice announcements from the openspo2. This comes to normal again when leaving the openspot2 off a while....

What radio do you use? P25 or C4FM? If you are using a C4FM radio set your radio to VW mode and the Openpot modem mode to C4FM. It was just a QSO with VE3PV Rick on TG10200 P25 North America reflector.

I am using P25 Radios, Astro Saber and XTS2500i. I can RX the voice annaouncement from the Openspot2
so it should be fine. I can RX all, the Radios and the Openspot with my Scanners, AOR AR-DV1, Uniden 436 and Uniden SDS-100. Only the Openspot2 can not RX my Radios....

Just installed the beta. Having similar issues. I can't get the openspot to hear me or the radio to decode the openspot. I have checked my frequency is correct and NAC. Also unchecked route all calls to TG9. Testing with a APX4000 and a NX5300. I can see RF from the openspot when there is activity just no radio will decode it.

Hello!
Same issues here. Testet with Motorola Astro Saber I and Motorola XTS3000 MK1 (P25).

Make sure you've ran AutoCal, or manually set the RX offset on the modem page. You can test with the built-in local echo on ID 9999.

Autocal isn't finding anything. I set the frequency properly and it just searches and searches.
HA2NON
Try setting the RX offset manually on the modem page in 100Hz steps. You can test with the built-in local echo on ID 9999. Does the LED blink green when you press PTT on the radio?

Went from -500 to +500 no change. The light stays pulsing green.

Also another note if I change to DMR mode on the same frequency and same NX5300 radio it works perfect.

As i wrote in my initial statement, i did all this..... Tuning the RX offset + and - 1000Hz in 50 Hz steps....
From your statements I assume you developers do not have a P25 Radio? Justs asking, not complaining...

Norbert tested P25 mode with his Kenwood NX-5300.

Is there anything i can do to assist you finding the issue?

Can you confirm which the OS2 is transmitting at 6.25/12.5/25?

Please note: if you want to use NAC 0x293 which is the default P25 NAC value (in hexadecimal), then you have to enter it as decimal in the openSPOT2's web interface (0x293 = 659, so enter 659 for the NAC).
Also we've fixed NAC mismatch notification in beta firmware v37 today so please upgrade.

Upgraded to 37 changed the NAC in OP2 to 659 and still getting NAC Mismatch error on transmit.. but I can Receive now. 05:33:22 p25packet-decode: nac mismatch (got 1683 expected 659)

Your radio is transmitting a wrong NAC (1683, or 0x693 in hexadecimal).
The easiest is to set the NAC to 0 both in the openSPOT2 and in your radio.
