Hm, I think the battery topic is still important. The lifetime should be measured under normal conditions. If you buy a camera, the vendor writes you can make x photos with resolution y using battery z. They don't say the battery lifetime is x hours if you do make any photo at all. I really like the openspot, it's awesome but I never got close to the 30 hours, after 5-7 hours the battery is getting low. I can use a small, external additional battery of course. If you make a clearer wording about the battery lifetime no one is saying anything negative, if you advertise the battery lifetime up to 8 hours it's ok also but 30 hours is non rational. This was a buying factor (but not the only one) for me, because I thought in some special cases where there is no battery at all, I could have an interesting option - but this is truly not the case at the moment. I don't know if you collect usage stats about your devices, but if so, logging the battery power would lead to interesting and more realistic usage data.
