oxoocoffee No do not. I did it as an “open source” to the community. By the way, There will be another update. the car version will be a bit different. Right now the USB port is pointing upward so in the next version, it will point downward. The belt version changes will have “rough” edges removed at the top (rounded corners) so when you carry it around on your belt you do not scrape your hand against it. Also, the bottom opening will be closed since it is not needed (the USB port is pointing upward) I do not want to sell them since I do not have time for the support Maybe one day when I have more time. But if there are enough people that would like me to make them for them I could pass it to my friend and he perhaps could do it. But I would have to ask him. 73,
KB9LIQ Do you think very many people would want to buy them if the price was not too bad? A friend does printing of tool items he sells online and I might be able to talk him in to printing out some if I had enough to be worth his time to set it up and print them. Never done anything like this so I'm not sure what the cost would be. Shipping is the bad part with what they want to ship stuff these days
KB9LIQ Reading you post about making the one version without an opening in the bottom how will you get it out? Do you not need the opening in the bottom to push up on the openspot to get it out? Seems like maybe just one version that we could put a belt clip on or you could use the same one and just mount it on any surface. Now maybe you would need a small bump out near the bottom equal to the part where you can mount the belt clip so the back side is flat. Hope that makes sense
oxoocoffee You do not need the hole on the bottom for belt clip (well that I what I think . You can quite easily remove it but sliding it out. But it does not fallout when you would have to run of jump. The cut out was my initial mister to have USB access. But I realized it is on top of oSPRO I hope to have new update with picture tomorrow. It is printing now… I will post it soon
oxoocoffee Here is version 5. Car model is a bit smaller for easy access. It is a bIt bigger so inserting some pads might be good. Belt model has top corners rounded, so it does not scratch/irritate side of your arm while walking OpenSpot4_v5.zip
oxoocoffee And here is another version 6. I personally like this version the most. So you know, I used one layer of black duck tape that I inserted into both units to make the units slide better. 73 and enjoy OpenSpot4_v6.zip
VA2SS Hi, While waiting my OS4Pro, I consider to print your case. Do you have another version, or this one still your latest release? Great work! 73
oxoocoffee This is the latest so far. I might have some very small modifications but that might be a while since I am out of country for some time
VA2SS Thank you very much for sharing your work. I printed it yesterday, and I am very pleased with it. I also added the belt clip, as per your instruction. Have a safe trip out of your country. Best 73 de Jeff | VA2SS
VA2SS rozdav693 Hi, I might be wrong, but I don’t think the case is available for purchase somewhere, unless someone with a 3D printer would like to start selling it. 😕
oxoocoffee There are few online printing services. Here is a quick one I found. I did not ever used them myself. https://d3dprinting.com . I can also chat with someone who might be interested printing it for some folks. Who would be interested? I like to get general count so I can ask and find out how much it would be?
rozdav693 it says cant download file does anybody using a small hard case to hold pro1v thanks David WA2MZZ
oxoocoffee I just did try to download if from my above post. It works for me and I was able to uncompress it as well. Not sure what to suggest here. Try using different browser? 73,
