I tested the iOS version of SharkRf-link on my iPhone 13 Pro, and I immediately noticed the phone is getting warm when using the app and the battery is also draining quickly.

Does anyone is having the same behaviour?

VA2SS Yes, I noticed that as well. iPhone 13 here.

I just downloaded app on iPad Pro and iPhone 13 and when trying to add device on both while on same Wi-Fi (all three devices) is failing. On both iOS devised OS4 is not found. I can add manually but I will wait for developers input.
By the way, I can access OS4 from both devices Safari browsers

EDIT: just upgraded to v28 OS4, and still not finding

oxoocoffee Hi, I added the openSPOT4pro manually in both iPad Pro and iPhone Pro. Did you try to it manually?

I did not, thank you for stating that it works. I just decided to wait for support just in case they want me to run some test to see why it is not finding.

oxoocoffee If you add it manually, you may delete it after and test for an automatic detection.

Your browser device (phone/tablet/computer) needs to be on the exact same Wi-Fi network as the openSPOT4 and multicast/MDNS needs to be enabled and working on the Wi-Fi router. If the app does not find your devices automatically, then add them manually.

So here is the twist. When I initially installed MacOS app on my MacBook Pro, it did auto find it.
So my iPhone and iPad are on the same WIFI as MacBook Pro. In all cases the ceiling AP was 10 feet away. No router / AP / configuration were changed.
I will just for kicks remove it from MacOS and see if it can be found again and then IOS

Ok, I can reproduce this and it looks to me like it is iOS bug with finding the OS4.
If I start search on both iOS devices, they will sit on screen searching for OS4.
Now at the same time, on my MacOS I started the app I installed before. A new update popped up and I upgraded to the latest. Then I removed the OS4 that was found during initial MacOSX install / setup.
Next, I did stop iPhone and added OS4 ID manually to it while iPad was still siting on search screen, searching for it.
After iPhone was added manually, I removed OS4 entry on MacOSX, since I wanted to see it it will autowind again or if it will suffer from same issue as iOS devices. Now when I presses search on Mac OSX, it did find OS4.
But also what I noticed that iPad also found it while was sitting and searching.

So not sure if initial manual add to iPhone triggered something on network that iPad found it
Or the MacOSX search also caused the iOS get the OS4 broadcast.

I was not looking at iPad, so I am not sure which one from two above really caused.
Since they are on same WIFI and right next to me, I think I presented that it is no my network

EDIT: above steps were performed with v28 firmware on OS4. Just notice there is v29.

The App works on my iphone SE2 and my ipad, however, I‘m not able to hear audio on any kind of bluetooth headset. Headset is connected, all audio on the iphone/ipad is played back on my headset, but the sharkrf link always outputs sound to the speaker.
Does bluetooth headsets work for anybody?

It does work with my air pod pro 2. But I had random time where it was connected but the sound was not routed to pods

Looks like thee is some issue that I am running one a while. Sometimes it does work and something it does not.
I am referring to accessing OS4 from WAN. I made port forwarding while back and there were no configuration changes on OS4 or my router. Sometimes I can access OSB using both my MacBook Pro (Work Wifi) or iPhone 13 5G LTE. I reported this when software was in beta while back. When it is trying to connect to WAN IP set in both MacOS or iOS applications I get this error message at times.

I just tested about hour ago before I did left to work from my iPhone with Wifi turned off and I was able to connect. The LED was green. Now about hour later I can not access. I know the internet is fine since I can ssh to my home machine.

you get much farther than I do. the app will not run on my iPhone 13max with iOS 16.2. the app opens but does not find my OS2 and the + button is unresponsive so I cannot even try to add manually. Anyone else have issues with the app not working at all?

It might be worth trying to uninstall and reinstall the iPhone app AND I would suggest this processs.

uninstall the SharkRF Link app.
restart the iPhone or iPad
Install the SharkRF Link app
