Unable to connect to OpenSpot 4 Pro via iPhone 15 Pro and Smartphone App

HA2NON Any word on the new app version? It's been about 4.5 months since this post and a year since version 13 was released. I still cannot get OS4 to work with my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Currently we don't have an exact date on a new app release, but you don't need the app to use the openSPOT4, just use a browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) to open its web interface by entering http://openspot4.local/ or https://sharkrf.link/

Trying to get my openSPOT4 to connect to my iPhone 15 Pro Max by going through https://sharkrf.link. My OS4 is listed, but when I hit Connect it doesn't do anything. I have my phone set as discoverable, maximize compatibly is checked, I have my iPhone hotspot SSID and password listed in the Network tab. Everything works as advertised when connected to my computer, but I just cannot get it connected to my phone. I know there's a setting somewhere that I'm missing, but where. Thanks

@"micksmith" I don’t know. I’ve read several people have had zero issues and then some like me are having a hard time with it, but you never see what people did to fixing the issue

Could this be a network provider or what type of router is used problem ?, as some dont have a problem with the 15 pro max and some do, my 15 pro max just worked without a hitch, so was just wondering.

I got the 15 pro max about 6 months ago and just done the apple thing and everything got transfered over from my old iphone x, to be honest i dont think i did anything or cant remember doing anything with the app it worked straight away, just a thought might it be some sort of difference in the phone make up between the ones that do work as to the ones that dont.

micksmith The issue is not browser access to the dashboard, it is the SharkRF App that is supposed to work as a transceiver and not require a radio. The reason you see inconsistent "success" is because some people do not understand the specific details of what is working and what is not. The Shark App worked fine with my 12 Pro Max but did not work with the 15 Pro Max and was reported by many and finally acknowledged by SharkRF. But we have yet to see a response that the new App has been released or fixed.
@HA2NON is there any update on the App release/fix??

I finally got it to work by using safari instead of chrome and following the steps outlined by W7TRD up above

I just tested the App on my IPhone 15 Pro Max and it appears to be working now!!

I saw an updated Android app appear a few days ago, maybe there is an updated version for iOS too.

I have the same problem with my iPhone 16. I'm unable to use the “transmit receive” option. However, everything worked fine with my iPhone 11 pro.

I've tried everything, to no avail. Despite the latest firmware update (V75), the problem persists.
